When This Marine Needed A Friend, His Puppy Was There. Now Watch Them Reunite

When Sergeant Jacob Fisher was on a seven-month deployment in Bagram, Afghanistan, in 2015, he never expected that by the time it was over, he would bring home a dog

Be that as it may, while the dynamic obligation Marine was battling for his nation abroad, he discovered his closest companion simultaneously. Subsequent to getting called about an animal got inside a creature trap on his base, he found a small puppy inside and took him in. It just took seven days for him to choose that the little person, who he named Jax, would return to the U.S. with him

Fisher was in the United States Marine Corps for almost 11 years when he completed his third tour to the Middle East

He was missing his son when Jax came along. That's when Fisher says the puppy lifted his spirits" and made his days much more bearable

The pair quickly became inseparable and Jax's presence at the base made everyone feel happier

Fisher knew his couldn't leave his newfound friend behind, so he arranged with the SPCA to transport Jax to the U.S. through their Operation Baghdad Pups program

The program helps reunite military servicemen or women with dogs or cats that they bond with overseas by rescuing them and bringing them back the U.S

I'm so happy that Fisher now gets to keep Jax for the rest of his life! To learn more about the program that made all this possible, click here, and be sure to share this sweet story of friendship with everyone you know!
